The Seletti Kintsugi skull ornament explores the concept of beauty. Crafted from porcelain, it is tipped with floral motifs and 24k yellow gold, creating the illusion of a repaired broken object.
This unique decorative piece features unusual and very realistic curves, perfect in every detail. Featuring porcelain fragments in different patterns, the veins holding the pieces together are painted with precious 24K gold for a luxurious finish.
The Kintsugi collection draws inspiration from the Kintsugi technique that originated in Japan and involves the use of precious metals such as 24-karat gold, to repair porcelain vessels.
This technique of porcelain repair comes from the philosophy of wanting to transform and restore life to a broken or cracked object and therefore no longer usable, making it even more valuable than before repair.
A transformation that in addition to the value of the object itself gives it a new appearance and allows it to be used again.
It was designed by Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba and is delivered in a beautiful gift box.
Marcantonio’s passion for the faithful replication of natural objects is perfectly represented in this stunning piece of modern art.
