Samura Whetstone SWS-2000 Grit 2000 is a high-quality sharpening whetstone together with a stable stand with anti-slip stand.
The single-layer 2000 grit whetstone by Samura is designed for removal of traces of rough operations and rough sharpening of steel knives. It is suitable even for very hard blades with a hardness of 58 HRC or more.
The supplied rubber pad provides secure mounting of the grinder to the table and prevents the blade from slipping during sharpening.
GENERAL WHETSTONES GUIDELINES
200 - 240 - Coarse grain - For pregrinding of dull knives or smaller repairs.
800 - 2000 - Standard grain- For regular sharpening / maintenance of edge.
3000 - 4000 - Fine grain - For perfect sharpness, for use after the 1000.
6000 - 12000 - Super Fine grain - For polishing until the knife becomes razor sharp, for use after the 3000.
