Artist Ardan Özmenoğlu creates extraordinary 3D artworks by painting glass panels and layering them into one consistent three-dimensional picture, in this case a tree.
The artist uses clear or semi-clear materials like paper and glass as an art board. She basically separates the objects which she is interested in drawing into layered pictures. Each piece of glass, each layer, looks abstract. Only when she combines them in rows one can see the whole of the artwork. A noteworthy quality of her artworks is the they change shape in accordance with the viewing angle of the spectator.
Ardan Özmenoğlu is a Turkish artist that uses her art in order to investigate how the permanence or ephemerality of images throughout history have affected human culture.
