The AZHAR lamp, designed by Sandro Santantonio Design for Italian brand Ca’ Belli Luce is light and elegant, just like a precious flower.
Nature has always been the starting point to draw on for many artists, be they poets painters, sculptors, photographers, architects or designers, the inspiration that sets them going on to create, to find a symbol in daily life: the sheer force of beauty in the universe. The research work for the collection AZHAR arises from this desire to capture the elegance, the freshness, the sinuosity of flowers, as exquisite works of Mother Nature, and transform them into suspension lamps, wall lamps, ceiling lamps and floor lamps.
A very interesting aspect of the design is the wide material and color choices. Apart from the standard semi-transparent glass model, one can also choose to have the AZHAR upholstered in fabric or EcoLeather. Just like flowers once the AZHAR is covered with a different material, its character is transformed. A black leather version for example retains the elegant floral silhouette, while assuming a different look and feel.
AZHAR is composed of modular elements and it is therefore possible to carry out projects on request for any size and shape.
