The Flight Desk is an iconic aviation inspired desk designed by Dublin based Tierney Haines Architects.
With an ultra slim profile and delicate thin legs, the Flight Desk is an elegant sight to behold. The tabletop is made of carbon fiber and its aerodynamic shape resembles the shape of aircraft wings. The complete aviator look is achieved with the slender metal legs that somehow remind us of the fixed landing systems found on many single engine aircrafts.
Tierney Haines Architects was established in 2004, having worked in the UK and France it is now well established in Dublin and undertakes a variety of jobs across Ireland. Their work varies from new houses, to extensions and renovations of protected structures, and of course modern minimalist furniture designs, such as the remarkable Flight Desk.
