Canadian clothing manufacturer Arcteryx brought the technology and the materials of athletic and technical clothes to the Veilance formal jackets and blazers. Veilance feature an elegant and minimal style, yet their fabric technology supersedes the best ski, running and hiking jackets. Arcteryx uses the latest technologically advanced fabrics like GORE-TEX® and Teflon membranes, wind-stopping fabrics like WINDSTOPPER® and TECHNOWOOL™ lining.
Where possible, the pieces connected together not with stitches but with thermal binding for unified piece of garment. Where stitches are necessary extremely thin nanotech fibers are used. Meanwhile, all of the accessories are unique, the buttons are painted with electrostatic paint and want lose color, the zippers are WaterTight™ and with polyurethane finish for maximum protection from water.
The surprising detail is that Veilance by Arcteryx jackets are machine washable and do not need ironing. The true “smart fabrics” that produce waterproof and windproof jackets that are elegant and unwrinkled.
All Arcteryx products are handcrafted in Vancouver, Canada. The company is continuously trying to keep updated about the latest technological advancements and collaborates with many high-end technological companies. Meanwhile, when the use of natural material seems appropriate they do not hesitate to use it, like the merino wool, well known for its isothermal proprieties.
