The Rainman decanter was designed by designer Matilda Sundén Ringnér for Swedish glass manufacturer Skruf and it will gently pour wine in your glass with a stylish showering effect.
With a pure Nordic design, minimalistic and imaginative, the Rainman will surely make an impression on your guests when it comes to serving wine in impeccable style. Instead of a unique pouring hole, there are eight small holes that pour wine like a shower. Except of the awesome visual effect it seems that this method also improves wine aeration. The Rainmaker creates a different wine experience by playing with the traditional way of pouring wine.
Actually if you fill the Rainmaker with any colored drink, the process of serving turns to a spectacle itself. In addition the eight-hole design will prevent ice cubes and pieces of lemon from being poured into your glass. Finally, the Rainmaker has a dual function as it can also be used for watering plants.
Matilda Sundén Ringnér is a young Swedish designer who works with product design and illustrations. The Rainman decanter is the result of her final project at the School of Design in the University of Kalmar. It was realized in close collaboration with Skruf Glassworks. Indeed an inspiring and very promising beginning project.
