Cylinda Line cookware and tableware collection was designed by Arne Jacobsen for Danish manufacturer Stelton and includes the Cylinda Line bowl and salad servers. The Cylinda Line was designed in the ‘60’s and introduced to the public in 1967.
The clean and strict lines of the design are a perfect sample of Scandinavian minimalism. Combined with Stelton’s high quality production the Cylinda line became acknowledgeable and popular. All the pieces included in the Cylinda line remain still in production and are featuring in the collections of most Design museums. The basic geometrical shape included in all the items of the series is the cylinder.
The salad bowl and servers of the picture can be used as a set or separately and they will certainly be a striking industrial design addition to any table, as timeless pieces of original classic design.
The Cylinda line is made of 18/8 stainless steel, a material well known for its durability. The finishing is of supreme quality offering perfect polish and fixed material thickness.
