Tim Richardson is an Australian photographer based in New York that uses a technically innovative and excitingly conceptual approach to create amazing videos and still pictures.
He works internationally as a photographer and director and contributes to several international publications including Dazed & Confused, V Magazine, Interview and Vogue. In the last two years he has published two books, most recently the limited edition “Physical Frequencies”. His photographic work is regularly exhibited and is in the collections of Deutsche Bank and Sir Elton John. His work is characterized by a powerful sense of motion and skillful photography ideally combined with digital manipulation.
Tim Richardson has directed many campaigns for well-established global brands such as Lee, Levi’s, Sony, Nike, Heineken and Nokia. His latest directing projects include commercials for Van Heusen, Sydney Dance Company and Friedrich Gray. His second short film, “Procession” was recently shown at the OneDotZero Film Festival in London and his most recent film, “6 Breaths” for the Sydney Dance Company, was shown at the Venice Dance Biennale in 2010.
